“Like a bouquet of carnivorous flowers, Domaine Bizarre both invites and bites Guests who dare to enter the portal where the ordinary world gives way to eldritch elegance. The face of evil masquerades in sumptuous gowns and powdered wigs, as Guests explore the grounds of a pre-revolution French estate where time and space collide. Within the chateau’s hallowed halls, Lovecraftian horrors like the Dauphin in Yellow lurk, who have something far more sinister in mind than “Let Them Eat Cake”.

Domaine Bizarre blends the mythologies of H.P. Lovecraft and the writers who inspired him, with the decadent Rococo atmosphere of the court of Marie Antionette. The combination of enchanting and unnerving experiences instills wonder, fear, and delight as humor and horror blend together seamlessly into an exploratory, queueless themed land that rewards exploration and sparks curiosity.”
— Excerpt from Executive Summary by Katie Ruppert

Domain Bizarre was a group concept focusing on implementing a queue-less land. This was created by developing a highly interactive space that combined the theme of Lovecraft and the Rococo era. The land included two main attractions, show scenes, and interactive mini games to pace the guest's time. My main role within the project was to develop the interactives found throughout the land, as well as some of the conceptual art.
